Zane Defiant

Zane Defiant, Co-Managing Director of Operations, has been part of the NECCA family since 2019. He is a circus rigger with a background in non-profit and small business management, and grassroots organizing. Over the past decade he has worked with Hup State Circus Festival, Hideaway Circus, Big Teeth, Sunset Circus, Sleep No More, Electric Forest, and Theater Bizarre. He performs swinging trapeze with his partner, Violet Defiant. Zane also co-founded the nation’s 2nd nonprofit restaurant and bakes a mean cupcake.
