Rebecca Starr

Rebecca Starr has been in motion since age three, beginning in gymnastics before finding her path in the circus arts. She studied dance and movement at San Diego State University and began her circus career with Fern Street Circus and Cirque de la Mer.

Her performance credits include L.A. Circus, Cirque Dreams, Quixotic Fusion, T-Pain, The Girlie Show, Anti-Gravity, Imagination Entertainment, Frequent Flyers Aerial Dance Festival, San Diego Symphony, Middlebury Opera Company, and Cirque-tacular. Her work has also been featured on MTV’s MADENY Ink, and CBS This Morning.

An early contributor to the rise of pole dance and pole fitness, Rebecca spent years competing, performing, and judging internationally. She has taught worldwide as a master instructor, leading residencies and workshops in both pole and circus arts.

Rebecca has coached and choreographed for the Circus Smirkus Big Top Tour since 2016, served as Head of Aerial Arts at Circadium School of Contemporary Circus (2020–2022), and has been a ProTrack Coach at NECCA since 2022. She currently leads the ProTrack Flexibility program and coaches contortion, lyra, and aerial pole.
